The natural habitat for a ball python has a large range they can live in Forest, Savanna, Shrubland, Grassland, Artificial/Terrestrial according to the ICUN website.
The ball python assessment information found on the ICUN and website shows a decrease in there population. It states that in 2010 they were categorized as LC or least concern then 11 years later in 2021 they have now became NT in or near threatened.
Threats of the ball python decreasing in population, according to the ICUN includes Agriculture & aquaculture, Annual & perennial non-timber crops, Livestock farming & ranching, Biological resource use, and Hunting & trapping terrestrial animals.
Use and Trade of the snake is strange they are only allowed as pets or display animals in the international sense, but can be used as food in local and national they are also allowed to be worn as apparel or Cesery’s in local and national senses.

I went to craigslist, and this was one of the most interesting, exotic animals I saw. I personally would never get anything through craigslist. It gives me the heebie-jeebies. My housing also has a two animal Maximum, which I’m already at. I would never be looking for any type of reptile, but I did find this ball python. I find that it is easy for people to neglect, reptiles and other non-cuddly, pets, When they do not know how to properly take care of them. Snakes are often displayed as easy pets that only eats once every two weeks, but without the proper handling steaks will become hostile and more difficult to handle. The ball python scientific name is Python regius. It is now nearing being threatened. It seems the seller lives in Dallas and is looking to trade or sell this ball python. I think it’s a little weird to ask for an oculus two or a purebred puppy in exchange for your ball python. It did not mention a specific price for selling.
